  4. “What??? WE’RE the Wordless Wednesday?? What happened to the mini Monet?? Was there a memo? Geez, didn’t even have time to spruce ourselves up… Communication, people!!”
    (:

  5. Oh, I love monkeys and their expressive faces. So human-looking. These two look surprised about something, for sure.

“Hey, that’s– OMG, isn’t that Kristen den Hartog and her famous daughter, N.? Where’re the rest of the guys? They’re never around when something exciting happens. Guys? Guys! Get your monkey butts out here. Honest-to-god celebs! Hey, do you think maybe we’ll make it into Wordless Wednesday?!”

  6. These were monkeys we saw in Malaysia on our Christmas holiday. They were everywhere — like squirrels here, but bigger, and with wigglier eyebrows. These ones (and about five others) were all over our car with us inside.

  7. Carin and Allyson have commented so imaginatively that I feel almost at a loss for words, but their expressions and poses really are marvelous and the angle of the photograph enhances that beautifully.

These monkeys look very surprised to see a carload of Canadians.

  9. Don’t you just love those faces and the hand telling the one behind, “Hey pay attention; something’s happening here.” Great WW contribution, Kristen.
